In this week's version of the links, we talk Tamba Hali, Penn State-Pitt, and Lane Kiffin. Check them out after the jump.
We've actually managed to dig up some PSU-related news this week. Leading off, here's a piece from the Daily Collegian about A.Q. and his excitement about playing for his hometown Steelers. -Collegian-
Adam Rittenberg is ranking the Big11Ten's 30 best players, and Stefen Wisniewski comes in at #27. I'm sure we'll be hearing from Royster, Clark, Odrick, Bowman and maybe Sean Lee before this list is complete. -Big11TenBlog-
Rittenberg also has his list of Big11Ten players who emerged this spring. No big surprises for the Lions. -Big11TenBlog-
When there's nothing to write about, apparently you end up with people writing about the Penn State-Pitt "rivalry". When you run a blog and there's nothing to write about, you link to people who write about the Penn State-Pitt "rivalry". -LehighValleyLive-
As for seeing Pitt on the schedule, we have two points to make. One, we have to disagree with this guy's main point, because if this became a series again, it would undoubtedly be huge. If PSU visited Heinz Field, Pitt may even be able to sell more than 25 tickets. But our second point is that we don't really care if this ever happens, because the last thing Penn State needs is another weak opponent on the schedule, and, sorry Pitt fans, but that's what the Panthers are. If they ever turn things around, then it would be an interesting idea. Until then, it doesn't do Penn State any good.
To round out the PSU news, the CDT has a nice article about Tamba Hali and how he's trying to carve out a new role for himself with a new regime coming into KC. It kind of sucks that a dude has to feel like he's fighting to keep his job after only three years in the league (and not a bad three years), but on the other hand, hopefully the motivation will bring out the best in him. -CDT-
In national news...
This Rivals mailbag ponders the greatest college running back of all time. -Rivals- Our choice from the article:

Bo Knows.
If it seems to you like Lane Kiffin might be a big dick, you may have some compay: 11 players have left the team since Kiffin signed on.
In part two of this story, Kiffin is filling the aforementioned spots on the team with some quality guys. We just sign the guys that screw up once they get to campus. Kiffin is seeking out guys who are already criminals. Nice.
This may be the dumbest lawsuit of all time. Hey, if you're going to go after somebody, don't go after EA Sports! NCAA Football is a religion for this blog, we don't want anyone screwing it up.
That's it for now. Back with more later in the week.
