Building the Tailgate, Part II

(Tailgating is a big part of our football lives, we do it every game every year. We're going to make this tailgating themed article a regular thing where we pick up items we would want for our tailgate.  We're going to to be going out of our price range, obviously, but we plan on staying within reason... somewhat.  And please, point us in the right direction if you see something that should be part of any dream trailgate scenario.)

Last time on Building the Tailgate, we were getting our television set up with the VuQube. 

This time, we want to get on with our tropical tailgate theme. We already have the palm tree cooler, so the next logical step would be to get a Tiki Bar. Well, where do you find a tiki bar you can take on the road? A tiki bar to go, if you will....

For the low low cost of $770 ... 

Okay, so it's a little expensive, considering we could build this in about half an hour and for 1/8th the cost, but it's still a great idea. And of course, we feel this is an item that will set the WWTL tailgate apart from all the rest.

The palm tree cooler brought people in, the woot cooker makes for a great conversation piece and we're about 90% sure the addition of a freaking Tiki bar would be another great move. If nothing else, it's an excuse for lady friends to dress like the picture above... at least for the first couple games.

There is also a smaller version available for a slightly lower price, although it will still put a pretty sizeable dent in your wallet. 

We're going to do some shopping for the fall season and see if we can't get our hands on one of these, but we're fairly certain we'll end up going the "build your own" route... except by "build your own" we mean "have a friend build it for us".

Tiki Bars are great. They are a staple at Jimmy Buffett tailgating. I had also been thinking about making my own. I'll be interested to see what you guys do.
