Soon it will be August, practices will be starting, we'll be putting out our Big11Ten previews, and every PSU fan will be ramping up for the season. We're starting to get excited. Of course, we're not quite there yet. So, to help pass the time (and because we like to keep things light around here), we're going to start a new series called "JoePa In Time."
The gist of this project is that every college football knows what our beloved coach has done for Penn State and for the sport as a whole. But let's not forget, Joe has been around for a REALLY long time. So we're here to take a look at how the man influenced the world before he arrived in Happy Valley. We'll bring you pictures, stories, eyewitness accounts and much much more as we show you how Joe has altered history with his impeccable ability to rise to the occasion (not to mention his uncanny timing). It will be the best trip through time since ol' Doc Brown konked his head on the sink and thought up the flux capacitor.
Because we want to build up the suspense (but mostly because we’re lazy), we'll begin the series on Monday, as we take a look at how things all began for a young(er) JoePa.
